Help, I need Inigo's Base ID (SOLVED)
I use the best follower mod imo, Inigo, and I need help with a console code for him.

I already know the Ref ID, which is xx008ae9 (where xx is the load order number).

What I need is the difficult to find Base ID, which is needed for some of the more advanced console commands.

Please can some kind player give the Base ID to me...

Thanks :parksmiley:

Thanks for your reply, but I already tried that. Because Inigo's action list is so huge, when the console opens up on screen, the list will only show a hundred or so quest and dialogue IDs. if the Base ID is in there somewhere, it must be at the "top" of that list, which is out of range of the list that the player can see. Inigo's console list is rumoured to be over a thousand lines, and most of that is dialogue.

I tried "Inigo help 0", "Inigo help 1", "Inigo help 2", "Inigo help 3" and "Inigo help 4". None of them showed the Base ID.

I've trawled the internet and reddit. There's a lot of people out there looking for the same information... They all know the Ref ID, but not Inigo's elusive Base ID.

Pageup and Pagedown keys should let you see the whole list, but it might not work if you are using a mod that alters the console.

There's a "hard limit" on the number of times you can press "Page Up and Page Down". Inigo's list is so long that you reach the console limit well before you get to the beginning of the list.

If you're using Inigo in your game, why don't you try it in your console, and let me know if you find the Base ID

open console with ` key
type: help inigo 4
hit enter
note first 2 digits of the NPC_
type: prid xx008ae9 (replacing xx with the first 2 noted digits above)
hit enter
type: moveto player
hit enter
exit console with ` key

Hopefully this helps you, found this from the internet that may be helpful. Happy exploring!

I don't use follower mods, so I could not.

Thank you for your reply, but as I wrote in my post, I already know the Ref ID. That's the number you've quoted as well (xx008ae9). What I want is the other ID number, the Base ID.

Do you know the Base ID, or how I can get it?

The help command is the only way without opening it up in the CK, have you tried the mod
page on Nexus first?
Also the fan website dedicated to Inigo?

Really wonder what you are trying to do. Using the console on Inigo is far more likely to break him and his AI than achieve some other end. For any issues, see the author's instructions on the the mod description and posts pages.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1461

I would be EXTREMELY leery of using ANY console commands on Inigo other than those specifically mentioned by the mod author for certain specific circumstances.

The Base ID is the location in your modlist.

If Inigo is around you, open console and click on him. I believe that should show the RefID. That also selects him as a target for any commands you use (you don't have to type the number every time).

The number even stays after closing the console, so as long as you don't click on anything else it'll be there.

Also, I might be mistaken, but I believe you got the RefID and BaseID mixed up.

Thank you for your reply. I'm still surprised at how active the Skyrim community is. Wonderful modders have kept the game relevant, long past it's sell by date.

I now have the definitive answer. I downloaded the Nexus Mod called "More Informative Console". Here's the link: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19250
This gives a detailed decription of anything you click on, when the console is active.

So, for all those lovely peeps who added their tuppence worth to my post, here's the correct IDs for Inigo:
Base Form ID is xx000D62
Ref Form ID is xx008AE9
(where xx is the load order number)

Thanks again,
Happy Hunting :steamsunny:

PS: as stated by smr1957, it's extremely dodgy fiddling with Inigo from the console, so only do it if you're totally confident you know what you're doing. The author of Inigo has stated that Inigo can be terminally broken with a careless console command.

Glad you got it figured out, Dawg! And since there is no way of knowing just how experienced a player may be, I usually err on the side of caution and give warnings - better to be safe than sorry!

Enjoy!
