I cannot find Lydia!
Ok so I was doing the college of Winterhold quest where you had to get the staff for the magic ball and I was on the part where I had to kill the floating magic balls in Winterhold.

I'm assuming this is where Lydia last was because when I use the command
"player.moveto 000A2C94" It teleports me to Winterhold right where we were fighting the magic ball creatures, I looked around and she was nowhere to be seen.

I've checked the Whiterun catacombs many times to see if she was dead, not there, and my house (which she is a steward of), not there again.

Thankfully I didn't keep a lot of stuff on here but she was useful and I would like her back.

Is it possible to teleport her to me? Maybe she is stuck under the map or something.

Oh yeah I also tried waiting around 4 days with the wait menu and she has still not showed up.

I'll add anything if I can think of it.

Open the console and type prid 000A2C94, then press Enter. Then, type moveto player, and press Enter. Using this will instantly put Lydia next to you.

I typed "prid 000A2C94", pressed enter and then typed "moveto player" and pressed enter, nothing happened.

BUT The strange thing is I tried ""player.moveto 000A2C94" and it teleported me to right where i was standing.

So it looks like Lydia did teleport to me its just she is invisible? I tried looking around and pressing "E" and I couldn't get a dialogue box to show up.

Is she glitched or something?

Well, that is certainly strange. It almost sounds as if the disable commad was used on her. Did you by any chance attempt to use a disable command on anything when in Winterhold?

I suppose you could try the enable command. Just remember to make a save before using any commands, so that you have something to go back to.

Might be best to first disable and then enable. These commands are usually used by actually clicking on the target with the mouse. But try first entering Lydia's number, and then the command, as you did for the moveto player command.

First thing I'd do is 'prid xxxx / getav health'. If < 0 she's dead. *Dont* try 'resurrect', it will screw up your game.

Could you type out the command for me? I didn't really pick up what you said

First, do as ZarahNeander posted above, and find out if she is even alive or dead.

prid 000A2C94
getav health

If it shows 0, then she's dead, so don't try resurrecting her because the game has already run the death script for her, and it will mess up your game down the line.

If it shows that she has health above 0, then she may have been disabled somehow. You can try typing in the following to re-enable her.

prid 000A2C94
disable
enable

I tried that, it showed the health as 415, I did the disable and reenable, nothing

Sorry I haven't responded, but my internet keeps cutting out. But yeah, what was said above, but seeing how that hasn't worked, the only other thing I can think of is going to an interior cell and waiting for 30 ingame days for Skyrim to completely refresh/reset.

Interior cell? What is that? How do I do that?

Go inside a house..... interior means indoors.....
HawkHunter Jul 29, 2019 @ 5:51am
An interior cell is just inside somewhere, like your home, the Bannered Mare, things like that.

Just inside somewhere, probably be best in your home, and wait for 24 hrs at a time for 30 days so that the resets completely.

Thanks, giants glitched her into the dirt and broke my game twice but i got past it, and her back, because she was SUPER alive AND in the shadow realm.
