Spell cast animation bug
Whenever I cast spells while moving it seems my hands snap into their default idle pose instantly after casting. Tried installing FNIS spells and the animations work but the same bug happens after I finish casting any spell while moving, while idle this doesn't occur. Has anyone else ever had this issue before I googled for a bit but only found year old threads with no answers. Any help is greatly appreciated!

That sounds like a tough problem to try to solve.

The crux of the problem is somewhere in your data\meshes is an animation file that is causing the problem. Probley a relic from a mod either uninstalled correctly or unintended. How much effort are you willing to track it down? Depending on the number of mods you have installed and the nature of how you installed them.

Take a look in Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Meshes\actors\character\animations and see if anything Pops out at you as being named similarly to what action you are performing. It may be in a mod specific folder or a loose file with .hkx

I cannot STRESS enough to be very very very very and even more very careful removing files. Make sure you back things up and re-run finis after making any change.

Going to try and do a fresh install and see if the problem persist I did try to install the animation through finis in two goes so maybe I dorked up the process some where down the line.

So after going through with a fresh install after deleting everything that was in the folder I downloaded on my drive and deleting the folder related to skyrim in my documents I reinstalled to see the problem still persists. Might just be a small engine related bug every one has gotten used to know or i forgot since the last time aside from now that I really played skyrim was on my 360.

this is such an annoying bug but here's the fix. Open your fnis executable (the yellow and white window that allows you to update fnis behavior) check the skeleton arm fix it should get rid of it. if that's not the fix something is overwriting the animations and sadly idk a fix for this as it may involve trial and error with removing and backing up a lot of .hkx files. hopefully this helps some people out though, and I'm truely sorry if the simplest fix doesn't work cause the only other fix might not even work.
