What happens to my Legendary edition save if i buy SE

I am currently playing Skyrim on Legendary(Old Classic) edition with few graphic and armor mods. I am thinking of buying the Special Edition. If i buy, will my save or mods die ? If it is, how can i fix that ?

The Special Edition is a entirely Different game in a since as they add some new stuff in it not in the Legendary Edition So you will lose your saves and all that and will have to start from the beginning again in Special Edition but your Legendary Edition saves will stay and still work for the legendary edition of the game.

You could still try transferring your save but there's no guarantee it will work.

Some LE mods work with SE, it depends. Ideally you just start a new game and use mods made for SE.

If my save doesnt work on SE edition, it is not a big deal for me. I can keep playing in Legendary Edition. :D

The same thing that happens 99% of the time with the saves from the old version of a game which has been remastered (no matter how much some people may wish it were otherwise in grind heavy games).
It is the same thing that happened to the high scores in older arcade machines when the upgraded edition was released.

There are entirely separate iterations of the same (or similar) design.
