the game wont run nice above 60 fps, but im sure it supports 120 hz refresh rate
you should be able to play Skyrim Special Edition with the full 120 Hz refresh rate.
I am playing with a 144 Hz refresh rate myself without any problems.
I experienced bugs with refresh rates above 60 Hz only in the original Skyrim.

Thank You so much! That what's the correct answer. Rest of the people instead of refresh rating started to talk about FPS which I did not mean.
A friend of mine had an issue while playing standard version on his 144hz monitor that's why I asked. You all know, it's Bethesda after all.
No it is not the correct answer as the game will break above 60fps, it is just a matter of time as scripts will be out of sync and it will accumulate problems over time. Hz does not really matter, you can use that on anything. Heroes of Might and Magic 3 works on a 144hz monitor.
