Should I accept Harkon's blood?
Quiet honestly the only reason I can find to side with the vampires is serana, but I did a bit searching and realize she can still be my follower after I refuse harkon, does this means the choice has no effect on her dialogue/story telling whatsoever?

Serana will not really have a problem with what side you choose.
The developers know that most players take a liking to Serana, so even if you join the Dawnguard, she can still be your friend and follower. Just a different story line.
And even along the way you can switch sides if you want.

If you want to be a vampire lord you can accept his blood.
If not, don't accept it.
If you're a vampire you get ugly eyes, and an allergic reaction to the sun.
I usually play as werewolf and join the Dawnguard.

In spite of the horrible vanilla hair they gave her. It looks like she's got a receding hairline. What were they thinking?

You can also become a Vampire Lord through Serana after the Dawnguard questline is done so you're not even locked out of that option.

Vampire and Vampire Lord are two different things, you can only get the form from another Lord. There are only 3 in Skyrim and 2 that can turn you, Harkon and Serana. Also you will not be able to continue working with the Dawguard if you return as a vampire.

I know, that's why I'm on the quest to cure it, then when I get to the step to meet the mage guy in the wild the game glitched and jump through that step and asked me to do the next step and meet him, which doesn't actually trigger the mission dialogue, I'm stuck with vampire now
