currently im trying to install Lux and it has 3 requirements. i got ussep and ENB light but for Enhanced Lights and FX it says "Install meshes only to help with lighting limitations. Do NOT use the esp. If parallax is needed, Spongeman131 made a patch." im fairly new in modding and i have no idea what that means. can u help out
those mods will make many rooms (especially dungeons) even darker than elfx.
Op, i assume you're already using enb. The best to change brightness is by tweaking enb preset itself.
It's a stealth cheat. I use one that makes the outdoors even darker and am practically invisible.
Try this too: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2777
Just be aware that if you want darkness for stealth then enb tweaks won't work. The game is not aware of what a pixel shader at the back-end is doing to the brightness and doesn't factor it.
this mod is by Gopher and I thought I'd mention that as he is one of the best when it comes to modding your game.
That said I strongly suggest you read everything on the mod page including the comments section as it contains some great info
Elfx already handles the whole light vs darkness thing, no? I thought op is complaining abt darkness caused by elfx itself
