Best player's home mode for collector?
I love collecting many things - deadric artifacts, jars with bugs, unique weapons and armors (like Mythic Dawn, archmage, guild's eq etc) extended by mods and im looking for home mode fitted to my expectations.
What do you recommend? Heartfire's home have too little weapons racks and mannequins.
I'm thinking about this mods:
Skyfall Estate (SE)[www.nexusmods.com]
Elysium Estate SSE [www.nexusmods.com]

Legacy of the Dragonborn is the best but it kind of dominates your playthrough.

You really are spoilt for choice these days. Those two mods are great but there have been even better mods these days. It really depends on the home that is most fitting for your character.
How big needs it to be I have a whole list ... if near whiterun you can opt for this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3657

more dwemer Texarium: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6075

Valkyrja can give LOTD a run for its money everything the base game has Armors, weapons, uniques, quest rewards, etc can be stored/displayed.

I would go with LOTD and the Curators Companion.

But once again it comes down to personal preference.

you may be wary of creation club but hendraheim, myrwatch and shadowfoot sanctum would all be great options, especially if you have themed characters. hendraheim is best suited to warriors, myrwatch to mages and of course shadowfoot sanctum for thieves. all three are m,ade by elianora so theyre great quality
I've used Elysium in both Oldrim and SSE. It's nice without being over-the-top.
Well I agree with LOTD, However your entire play revolves around it I can imagine it's not what the TS really wants.
LoTD, but tbh, most of the recent house mods tend to have large armory that can fit all unique items in the game.
Elysium Estate is my favorite House so I vote for that. The only things that is doesn't have displays for are the Paragon Gems and certain unique weapons.
I thought I'd just mention Immersive College of Winterhold as a partial option. The mod is worth having on its own merits, and there is a hidden room in the Arch-Mage's quarters with some specialty slots to display dragon priest masks, claws, Black Books, and Elder Scrolls, as well as a few slots for oddities like Saerek's Skull in the main Arch-Mage room.
I have only played with a couple large homes so far. Of those, I like Caranthir Tower and Miserith Hall. Both have lots of display space, Misereth hall being the one with more choice in where/how things are displayed, Caranthir being the one with more overall deco options and better merchant/trainers.

The thing is, with Jaxonz Positioner or Decorator Helper, any place can be your display hall, because you can simply stick things to whatever wall you want to, the limitation being weapon racks, bookshelves, mannequins and things with complex activators and such. Start with something that has enough of those, and then use your favorite positioner mod to make it your very own.
Skyfall Estate is my favorite. Centrally located, a fitting home for how big of a hero the Dragonborn is without being over the top. A good amount of extra beds for followers who need a home once their quests are done, like Ilia or Aranea. Decent displays for anything you could think to display (minus the bug jars, no one ever thinks to make special displays for them). And personally I always feel that Whiterun just feels like 'home,' but Breezehome is kind of just a glorified shed, so Skyfall just feels much more appropriate.
My personal favourite is Lake Haven, on the shore of Lake Ilinalta. It has a large trophy room with a wide range of named and unnamed displays. It also has an optional armory with enough mannequins and weapon racks to display all the vanilla weapons and armors, a 6-bed room for children, a guest house in the garden that can host up to six followers and much more. The guest house, the trophy room, the armory, the kids room and a couple of follower rooms inside the house are optional and can be disabled if desired.
You can buy it for just 10.000 septims: a big deal, considering what you get :-)
Love Elysium Estate. Well done mod that will do the job and is also lore friendly. Has it all but as Mikk01 said it's not over the top
Thank guys for help!
I just tested some mods and:
Valkyrja Castle Whiterun - too big and IMO its ugly outside, inside too big with too lots separated rooms,
Elysium Estate - have some racks and mannequins but some boring,
Skyfall Estate - its.. disgusting, why? a lot of mannequins and racks with no idea, without good taste
Rayek's end - cool and original but it's need mannequins for me,
Tel Aschan - claustrophobic but cool, no manequins,
Sindora's Hidden Hearth - i think my favourite. no mannequins but it's look so good, oryginal, pretty, with a lot of details.. it's need some racks and mannequins but for now it's the best IMO.
Im still looking for something functionals and pretty but i think for now:
Sindora's Hidden Hearth + hearthfire and possibly +Rayek's end

Done.. finally i think that Tel Nalta [www.nexusmods.com] is for me the best - really pretty, good area etc..
