Skyrim special edition, ordinator bear trap power can cause ctd in certain dungeons
After crashing in my 18 hour playthrough for the first time I did some testing to find out why.

I started a new character with only USLEEP, alternate start and ordinator, teleported to bleakfalls barrow, added the bear trap perk then used the power. Then instantly crashed to desktop.

- When placing down a bear trap using the power, "drop bear trap" (given by the perk bear trap in ordinator's lockpicking skill tree) in dwemer or ancient nordic ruins, the game may instantly crash though not always.

- Placing the trap manually by dropping it from the inventory seems to get around this problem.

- When this power is used in the world, for example, by the Riften stables it works fine with no issues occuring. Same for when its used inside a room such as an Inn.

- From what I can tell it seems to be an issue with the type of floor the bear trap is placed on. The terrain's shape doesn't seem to be the cause.

- I focused mainly on the civil war and thieves guild quests so I didn't encounter a situation in which I used the bear trap power inside a location such as Nchuand-Zel (where I crashed for the first time in an 18 hour playthrough).

- The same issue occured in bleakfalls barrow when I tested it there.

If anyone knows how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it as the bear trap is really important to my build.

My load order:

1. Skyrim special edition unofficial patch
2. The Parthurnaax Dilemma
3. Wet and Cold (PC)
4. Hunter's reward - Better prices
5. Stones of Barenziah - Quest markers
6. 50% more perk points
7. Cloaks and capes
8. Ars Metallica
9. Waves
10. Belt fastened quivers
11. Violens
12. Relationship dialogue overhaul
13. Alternate start
14. The Forgotten City
15. Cutting Room Floor
16. Big Cats mounts and followers
17. Apocalypse - magic of skyrim
18. Ordinator - perks of skyrim
19. Ordinator - apocalypse compatibility patch

For a total of 1.12 gb

----------------------

Not really related but here's my build if you guys want to give it a shot.

Skill trees
- Destruction (for fire runes)
- Sneak (for trip wire, also comes with a perk that can reduce armor rating)
- Archery (to safely shoot poison)
- Alchemy (for elemental oil, aversion to fire)
- Lockpicking (for bear trap)
- Pickpocket (for the cursed septim, enemies take 100% more damage if you put this in their pocket)

This build really focuses on the setup and can annihilate enemies far above your level so long as you prepare properly. I used fire for destruction and for elemental oil as you can pull off some nifty combos between the two.

I have the same issue that you are experiencing, except that I am playing a heavily modded version of Skyrim, not the SE.
Dropping bear traps in the outside environment I haven't experienced an issues, but within dungeons and caves I have experienced instant CTDs when dropping the traps.
This could be an issue with the hotkey script in the original mod that has been ported to SE. I may just drop the bear trap perk even though it has been a lot of fun with my assassin character because I hate interacting with my inventory in combat (SkyUI is a lifesaver although it won't be in SE for the foreseeable future).
