Modding challenge: PS2
I really want to see someone mod the living ♥♥♥♥ out of skyrim, and make it run on a PS2. I want to see what it looks like and how it runs. Anyone up for the challenge?

Modding a 5 year old game and putting it on a system that's almost 15 years old? It's doable, sure, but rename it "How to burn your PS2 while playing with 2 FPS

I want to see it. Lol.
It's capable of 3d rendering and some good graphics games run on it. So if the game is lowered, graphically wise enough, it could run at at least 5fps.

You would need to rewrite the code from scratch. PS2 used a drastically different code than modern consoles. There's no such thing as "modding" skyrim to run on ps2, you would basically be remaking the game.

Can't be done. Different hardware entirely. This isn't a challenge it's an impossibility. You'd have to rewrite from scratch. PS2 only had a weak 400Mhz CPU and 32MB of RAM, yeah, 32MB!!

So you want to see a game that couldn't run properly on a ps3 ported to the ps3's predecessor which also happens to have one of the most complex hardware designs in tech history.

You have that backwards. The ps1 was fine when it came to 3d rendering. It was ♥♥♥♥ at rendering 2d though.
