How are you guys fast leveling smithing?.
I am just mining and buying all iron ores and transmuting them to gold ores and making lots of jewellery but its still taking lot of time because of trasmuting and my character is not magicka related build so its slow.

You can raid Dwemer Ruins for scrap metal, smelt the metal into Dwarven Metal Ingots and make Dwarven Bows with them.

Make sure you have the Warriors Stone and a Sleeping bonus on you before smithing for the extra 30% XP bonus.

If you are at least level 14 you can do the quest Unfathomable Depths at Riften Docks and receive the Ancient Knowledge reward for another 15% XP bonus.

You can also do the Lost to the Ages quest to obtain the Aetherial Crown around level 16 or so. Store the Lovers Stone on the crown for another 15% XP bonus.

You can get a 60% xp bonus to smithing with all the bonuses stacked.

Yes. Unlike Vampirism, becoming a werewolf again is possible.

in addition to this, you can brew or buy smithing potions to get an even larger bonus :)
I found upgrading existing armor and weapons seemed to make leveling quicker. I was DYING trying to figure out how to level up on smithing. It seemed to take forever. I started trying with making ore into ingots, I didn't make much headway. However, making new stuff and upgrading it is when I really noticed the faster leveling. Good luck!!

Leveling smithing will increase faster with items that cost more thus why jewelry is very nice.

Iron daggers only have one purpose and that's to toss banish on to level enchanting and make a ton of gold.

Not using smithing, alchemy, nor enchanting this playthough. So... good question. ;)

Taken for UESPWIKI

Making gold or silver jewelry can quickly level up smithing without perk investment. Players can cast Transmute Mineral Ore to convert iron ore to silver ore and silver ore to gold ore. An iron dagger (10 gold) yields 38.4 XP per ore chunk, whereas 2 gold rings (150 gold total) yield 51.5 XP per ore chunk—34% more efficient Smithing XP gain, along with Alteration XP from the transmuting. Halted Stream Camp has a free Transmute Mineral Ore spell tome and lots of iron ore.
I'm simply using a batch file I created. It helps with role play since you can start out as a fully realized character as opposed to starting form level 1.
I just gave myself all the perks lol. Not the levels or xp for them. Just the perks themselves.

Jack of all trades I see.
