Buzzing, static sound

The game worked fine, I'm about 24 hours in and now for some reason whenever I load my save a buzzing sound starts up and that's all I hear. I also can't exit the game properly and I have to turn my PC off. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Verify the file integrity, might have a corrupt file in there.

It's a system problem. See if you can run a system self diagnostics on it.

I have the exact same problem. It started 1 hour ago. This happened when i was in Alftand. I left the place. Then i verified the game cache integrity. Then started the game again. The sound is now normal.

It just randomly fixed itself for me, so im all good now.

I have a buzzing/static sound in the background even though I can hear the game audio. Only happens in special edition, none of my other games or other skyrim install. Tried uninstalling/re-installing, but it's still there no matter what.

i got this "bug" right now. after playing the SE 98h without problems. and it was also in the Alftand dungeon. on the animonculory level. the quicksave from there didn't worked. after loading it the sound was bugged and the game "freezed". i have loaded a old savegame before the dungeon now and it worked as it should be. will try the dungeon again to check if it worked now.

have the same Bug. After 114 hours of Gameplay with nearly no problems i enter Alftand and deep inside the dungeon behind the Falmen area after go thru a door to the dwarf area. the sound bug starts. nothing helped. must restart the pc. the Savegame is also broken. tried an older Savegame inside Alftand, the game crash to. tomorrow i try the Savegame before i enter Alftand. hope it will help.
otherwise there are a gamebreacking bug in the main quest.
remarke: i play the original se without any mod in 4k.

exact same thing happened to me in Alftand as well. It must be bugged

I have also run into the same thing, 120+ hours in and also in Alftand. Can anyone confirm whether or not just leaving fixes itself or do I have to load an older save incase the bug is now embeded in the save script?

I had the same issue in Alftand at 80+ hours in. Earlier saves became corrupt too, then two weeks later i load the game and the buzzing sound disapeared

Same here. Intro sounds fine but as soon as I continue game, no game sound - only static sound. Then the game, my keyboard & mouse are all frozen. God, I hate hitting the off button on the computer but I have no other option.

It's definitely Alftland. Luckily, an old save was fine. I loaded that & got out of the game as fast as possible. I found this googling. Haven't tried it yet:
