darkwater pass bug - can't attack and screen flicker

Every time i enter darkwater pass the screen flickers and the textures pop in and out but super quickly. When trying to attack he begins the attack animation but stops and starts the animation for sheathing a weapon then the weapon just appears back in his hands. Eight out of ten attacks get stopped by the sheathe animation. Does anyone know whatsap? I have used mods but i took them all off and the problem still persists.

I'm having this same exact problem. GTX 970, i5-4690k, 16gb ram - I shouldn't be having issues, lol.

EDIT: It also happens to a lesser extent in some other areas, it's just completely unplayable in this cave!

Enable vsync or use RivaTuner to cap your framerate at 60.
