stuck NPC

So i started the thieves guild today and before going tto beefarm mission brynolf gets stuck in a box in the flagon on able to speak with him to progess quest

Hit the console key ( usually ~ )
Then type tcl
This toggles clipping mode so you can move.
Then go back to the console and type it again to turn it off once you have got unstuck.

Oh wait, you mean a stuck NPC?
Ohh.. dunno about that.

i managed to jump on top of box some way and his part of his head was barely peeking thru so was able to click on that way toi talk to him to advance quest , just was very weierd bug

It's not really that unusual, I've seen NPCs get stuck before. They eventually work themselves free. Try going to some other area for a bit and come back and they should be back to normal. Collision detection by NPCs sometimes leaves a lot to be desired in this game.

It is nearly the same process as Woolybug described, with a few slight changes.

Option one:
1) Hit the console key ( usually ~ ),.

2) Click on the box.

3) Then type disable. The box should disappear.
NOTE: It will then re-spawn after loading back into the cell.

4) Hit the console key again.

Option two: If the box is still a issue.
1) Hit the console key ( usually ~ ),.

2) Click on the box. A string of number should appear, That is the box's id number.

3) Then type markfordelete followed by the box's id number. The box should disappear, entirely.

4) Hit the console key ) again.

Option three:
1) Hit the console key ( usually ~ ),.

2) Click on Brynjolf.

3) Then type disable, hit enter. Brynjolf should have disappeared. That's good.

4) Type enable, Brynjolf should reappear.

5) Hit the console key again. NOTE: he may not appear in the exact same spot, but will still be in the cell, just look for him


Option four: if Brynjolf is still bugged.
1) Hit the console key ( usually ~ ),.

2) Click on Brynjolf.

3) Hit the console key again. walk away from the box.

4) Open console, then type player.placeatme 0001B07D. Hit enter.

4) Exit console again.

That should cover all the ways to fix the issue. Good-luck, Have-fun!
