We having big fps drops when I had gsync on.
im not having any issues with Gsync.
do this and keep Gsync on. I capped my fps rate at 72(using rivatuner) and its rock solid no issues what so ever .
" For those who have unexpected poor performances try this :
Open Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SkyrimPrefs.ini and set iVsyncpresentinterval to 0
Cheers! ""
Going to try fiddle with that ini file setting too cheers.
word of warning though, experinces mgiht differ, in the old game i turned this off and it caused the physics to ignore newtons laws. in this one, im seeing things like this but i really doubt flying mammoths and space dragons are caused by turning this off. it used to jsut make loose objects into .50 cal bullets that'd kill you when you opened a chest or door.
but the startup does take a lot longer...(say 3- - 40 seconds) might be worth a try tho.
Jumps from 60 to 30 every other sec while walking around outside of towns.

8GB GTX 1070
The only location I had a drop to 40fps was somewhere northwest of Falkreath but thats it, everywhere else I been so far has been 72fps constant.
The weirder stuff is that sometimes I start the game and the fps are crap. Something like 10-20 fps.
Then I start the game another time and I get +80, without changing anything.
