I need a copy of the skyrimprefs.ini file

Hey, so I messed around with my prefs.ini filed and for some reason it is now missing entries, I stupidly forgot to save a copy and now my skryim is unplayable. I have no idea if these are related but the game instantly freezes as soon as I get to the start menu and crashes when I alt tab. Please post a clean copy of the prefs.ini file if you can :)

delete it. When you launch the game again it writes a new one.

The game should create a new fresh file once you launch it without skyrimprefs.ini.

Ah I didn't know that, thanks for telling me. I almost never mess with these files and its good to know that I can just delete them and relaunch the game.

i have a problem everytime i try to start it, it saies "unabel to find INI.file please reinstall skyrim. I have tried to reinstall about 4 or 5 times but still get the same errors. i have also tried the properties thing but ti still dose not work. If you guys have any tip on how to do it please tell me

Actually my prefs.ini file was messed up, when I made a new one it was still missing much of the entries. Using the copy that was posted I was able to fix it. I also found that if I tried to play anything other than windowed mode it would crash on start up. Hope this helps.

did you run it in adminmode? maybe the game caanot create an ini, becasue it has not the permission.

when you mess with files always take a backup of that file (rar or something) before yyou do
