Skyrim SE stuck in first time setup
ive been trying to play skyrim SE for a while it mine is bugged, when i try deleting the .vdf files the game starts running but doesnt show up on screen. ive tried uninstalling it and installing the game and that hasnt worked. ive tried regedit with no results. anyone else having this problem or managed to resolve this issue let me know.

all i can do is use 2k textures for original skyrim put in retexture mods, god rays mods and it will look exactly like skyrim special edition. well i did get the game for free and if it doesnt work well what can you do.

Did you verify the game cache (Steam library->right click game->Select properties) after you deleted .vdf files?

As for mods my suggestion is aside from the Unofficial Patch dont install any yet until the new CK is released but that's up to you.

veryifiying the game cache after deleting the .vdf files did nothing

for as lot of ppl it works perfectly well, its your system, mend it.

i fixed it, the game wasn't recognizing my videocard, instead it was running with my integrated graphics chip, just had to change that in the Nvidia control panel, and now runs on ultra :)

sorry to say i dont have nvidia control panel on windows 8, here are the spec's to my pc i guess it could be a hardware issue
