ESO is actually quite good, even better now that when you get it you get all of the dlc's included with the gold edition (which came out a month after I got the game...thanks timing...)
Keep posting about it on the forums here and Bethesda's website and they MAY get the hint though!
I know most if not ALL of my friends that play TES games would love to see the addition of just bringing other players in.
We DO NOT WANT a change in the games from a design decision aside from allowing other people to play as companions. Hell, I think most of us would be okay with not having access to customize characters if we could just take over a pre-existing companion. I think a lot of people think that the change HAS to come to a detriment to the style of the games which simply isn't true; assuming Bethesda doesn't go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy and make TES:VI; ESO1.5
Videos on Tamriel Online are on YouTube. i.e. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsoD8yt-_J0
Pay no mind to the people touting ESO or saying "Skyrim was not intended to be co-op." They are utterly unhelpful and will make no effort to be helpful.
I am guessing that Skyrim SE's new coding (and in particular memory management), may open up new avenues unavailable to the Tamriel Online mod and the other co-op efforts. I suspect that it would be restricted to the PC alone, but who knows? Also, I would fully expect that you would NOT see a multiplayer mod on Bethesda.net. Look for any progress on Nexusmods and other sources.
It would be cool in a Dark Souls kind of way, but I really wish you people would drop it. Bethesda's response to requests like this was ESO, and it sucked.
This.
You see, I would prefer if the TES/Fallout developers concentrate on delivering the best possible single player experience to me. I do not want them to modify the core of the game for more players to fit in, and to spend resources on that. The time and resources could actually be used to improve the single player game I like so much.
So... No thanks.
