Do the Nexus mods work with Skyrim Special Edition?

So, I have 100+ mods from the Nexus saved on my hard drive. Would they work with Special Edition?

Only a few.

Go to the forums of Skyrim SE, there is a thread that has all the mods that are updated for SE.

If the mod you're interested is not on that list, don't download it.

The problem is that many mods need to be updated using the new Creation Kit, but Bethesda did not release it yet for some reason.

Only people who signed up for beta access to the Creation Kit have access to it.

I'm having a problem with a few follower mods as well as I think two other mods. Tetrodoxin's Lilu follower mod (http://tetrodoxin.tumblr.com/post/151438071062/lilu-follower-20b)
all of RANDYGEORGE (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/12272591/?tb=mods&pUp=1) & Teylin follower mods (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/21184329/?tb=mods&pUp=1) and the old Diablo Cathedral dungeon at lovers lab (http://www.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.com/topic/24647-the-cathedral/) and summerset isles (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68406/?) mods all for some cause my game to start as a background process and never acutally start the game. I've talked to Tetrodoxin on hi tumblr page and he don't know what might be causing the problem. Does any1 else?

Those mods appear to have NOT been updated to SE. Look in the Special Edition section of Nexus to see if they have been.

there are mods available on Nexus - just be sure to change the game field in the search options to Skyrim Special Edition... There are many to choose from, and most work. The ones that were properly converted and not just ported...
