BUG!!! Quest: Take Up Arms

When Vilkas ends the dialog, and starts "testing" me, everyone around attacks me till I'm dead

UPDATE: Left my companion in Jorrvaskr and they didn't attack me anymore :)

I had the same issue I think it's because I was using a weapon that had magic damage (eg frost). which continues to do damage and the game registers it as you attacking him after the "fight". Reloading my last save and using a regular weapon fixed it.

I've tested it with a bow, sword, knife. Same result

This is a problem even in a modded game with equipment that causes aggro. Also, keep your companions back. I wanted to play a death-final game and I forgot how "fiesty" some can be...to the point that it causes me untimely death.

After all npc start attacking you try to attack Vilkas just a bit then run to the guard, attack him, hide your weapon and then pay him money to fu** off. After all this manipulations Vilkas and all nps became peaceful and accepted the quest.
