There are no meshes or textures because they are stored in BSA files.
And for some reason, you can not extract the meshes or textures using BSA extractor. It worked fine in Skyrim LE and other games.
I wanted to examine the textures closely to see what quality they are at, so if necessary could use Optimizer Textures to optimize them for better performance, but was unable to extract them for some reason.
Loose files should have priority over the ones stored in the BSA.
The only problem is that without BSA extractor working, you can't see if they changed the file format for folder structure or changed the names of any files.
I don't think that's how it works.
BSA files remain unmodified.
The mods come with their own folder named meshes with a folder path that copies the BSA.
This overwrites the BSA.
So basically make your own folder called meshes and copy the path of the files exactly. Then after you're done slap the files in there.
