Can't Alt-Tab out. Volume control on KB doesn't work.
I cannot Alt-Tab, or Ctrl-Esc, or Ctrl-Alt-Dlt, or anything out of this game. If I have to change something, such as a macro key, I have to completely quit the game.
Also, it doesn't seem to recognize windows volume settings, so the volume knob on my keyboard has no effect.

Same here. Updated drivers, tried all window/borderless/fullscreen options. It just acts strange. The old skyrim could alt-tab out of the game all day long.

I have the same issues. Bethesda games have always been rather flaky with alt-tabbing, but I've not had one simply go to a black screen and refuse to be minimized before. And my keyboard volume and media keys not working is nearly as annoying. Those keys work in almost any other game, and don't require my keyboard's software (MS Mouse & KB Center) to be installed. In fact, the only other game I can think of where they don't work is Aquanox 2: Revelation, which is a 13 year old game. It's probably worth noting that Aquanox 2 also has the same alt-tab behavior.

I managed to get alt-tab somewhat working by running the game in borderless window, but it still only works if I open certain menus before tabbing out and is reluctant to hand over mouse control to Windows. I have to blindly click on the window I tabbed in front of the game, and hope it doesn't accidentally click the game and bring it back to the front.

If you open steam overlay you can adjust the volume with your keyboard

It works for me, but that may be because I have two monitors open.

This did work for me. And I can also alt-tab with the overlay, though it doesn't actually minimize properly. I can use other open windows and the taskbar/start menu just fine, but the desktop behind them was obscured in black.

I also have two monitors, so that could be a contributing factor.

Yes you have to do alt tab then without releasing alt clic in the bottom right of your screen, and it should minimize properly then to go back into skyim alt tab once then you should have a black screen adn then alt tab without releasing again and clic into skyrim

Sorry if you don't understand I am not english

Clear enough to understand. Thanks for the tip.

I didn't try the show desktop button (bottom right), since the black screen in the background wasn't really an issue. Just being able to alt-tab out to other windows and the start menu is a huge improvement.
