Missing english language pack ?!

im polish and wanted to play with english voices just as in original,but there is no way to change it,when i try to instal english version there is no dialogue or voices in game,any solutiions ?

Same problem here. I want to play the game with english voices and spanish subs.

I tried switching language in the steam game properties but i get a 0kb update.. this is so wrong

Ok. i got it working.

What you need to do is this:
-Apply the english patch changing the language settings via steam
-Copy the file in the game data folder named 'Skyrim - Voices_en0.bsa' and keep it somewhere to use later
-Set your normal lenguage that works for you via steam settings
-get the language file from before and replace it with the one downloaded just now changing its name to the one you currently have (example: Skyrim - Voices_it0.bsa)
-launch the game with your normal language, it will use that language voice file that instead is english

if you want to change subs too you just open the skyrim_defaults.ini file and change the language there

This doesn't work for me at all I dont rlly see how this should even work becaus you don't download the english Language? I have the same problem as you right now when I change my game Language in Steam to English I'm getting a 0 kb download. I patched the game back to german and everything works in german makes sence. It doesnt go to English even If I change the ini Files to en or ENGLISH that doesnt matter at all. I'm Using MO2 and even if I tweak the ini files through MO2 doesnt do anything for me. To get the english Language dont u need to Download it via Steam how else should u get the Language Switch working? I mean what is even the reason that causing the 0kb download?

I donwloaded this Mod:https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18115 wich include the English Language Pack and setting the ini files to EN and English and changing the Language on Steam aswell to English solved the Problem for me.

Can't really help you, since i don't remember much. I don't even remember writing that. But i remember something with the game's language being the same as the steam client, and the language change feature not working.. that was probably the thing. so i forced the download of the language pack i needed by changing the steam client language settings, if it doesn't trigger a new download (and i dont see why it would trigger) you will probably still need to downlaod the game again, or probably just move/delete the language pack you currently have and repair local files so that it would trigger a download, that is what i would try now.

Thank you. I have searched for this files. The link is blocked from steam but the mod is called Unofficial High Definition Audio Project and can be find on the Skyrim Special Edition Nexusmods Page.

I don't want to change the language via steam in my Skyrim (VR) cause I've modded the hell out of it and don't want to break the mods by changing the language in steam. ;-) So I need the pure files to just copy and rename them.
