Windowed Borderless not scaling right?
I have two ASUS VX-8H monitor setup (So 1080p) but when I select windowed mode and select borderless, the game displayes WAY too big, bleeding onto a 6th of my 2nd monitor and falling right off the bottom.

Not sure if it matters, but I have a GTX 960 graphics card... Please help, I dont want to play on fullscreen!

Edit the SkyrimPrefs.ini to the value of your monitor resolution

[Display]
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=1080
iSize W=1920

No change. Don't tell me I have to toy with it untill I get it right D: Won't that cause screan tearing?

Screen tearing is caused by no Vsync, thats not the Vsync setting ;)

I may have found the problem?? Maybe? Out of curiosity, I went to Whatismyscreenresolution.com and it showed 1536x864 which would explain why 1920 x1080 is way too big, and 1440 is just a bit too small (Its closer than 1920 -.-) why is it doing this??? My monitors show 1920 in the controll panel and my graphics card!

Doesn't fix squat for me. I can save the changes all I want, but as soon as I launch the bloody thing, the changes in the option menu, overwrite the changes to the actual file.

This comes as a necro, but I faced the same problem. The issue was in the Windows settings. System > Display > Scale & layout > Scale. At least for me Windows defaulted to 125% which caused it to report wrong resolution to apps. After setting it to 100% everything worked.
I editted the ini for my last computer, it had a wide screen.... I had to play around with the settings, it wasn't exactly what my resolution was stated as, but it was the same ratio, I just had to try different number (but the same ratio) until I got it right....

I have done this to my TV/monitor settings, also worked.
Uhh if no one figured it out yet just select the native option in the list of aspect ratios
