I'm having the same problem, Kingslayer. I have not found a solution.

Right click on your desktop, select Nvidia Control Panel.

From NVIDIA Control Panel
3D Settings->Manage 3D Settings
Tab "Global setttings"
Preferred Graphics Processor
Select : High performance NVIDIA rocessor

I do that, Duke.

And then, when the game crashes immediately after loading up, I go back to check that, and it informs me that the game is using the Integrated chip. This has happened 15 times now.

i remeber having an issue like this years ago on a laptop with both Nvidia graphics and intergrated graphics. You need to make nvidia your default graphics card...or something like that. This really won't be much help but maybe it'll put you in the right direction. But honestly good luck running the game at all on that graphics card.

I've got a GTX950m, and can run original Skyrim with a ♥♥♥♥ ton of mods and a mid-performance ENB.

My card is not the problem.

Or at least, if my card *is* the problem, I can't tell because I can't get the game to use that card. My Nvidia card is already my default graphics card, so that doesn't seem to be the issue.

HEY I GOT MY SE TO FINALLY REGISTER FOR HIGH QUALITY!

Follow the instructions that Duke suggested but also click the "Program Settings" tab next to Global.

Add Skyrim SE by clicking Add (then to save time click "Browse" to the right of "Can't find the program?"

Find "SkyrimSE.exe" and click Open

Then in the 2nd step below just put it on your graphics card instead of Global Settings (just to make sure)

I couldn't find a "Accept Changes" type of button so I tried to exit out of the NVIDIA Control Panel and it prompted me to accept the changes I made, so I did.

Ran the launcher and it said it would detect for my graphics and finally said set for High Quality

I really hope this helps!
