I guess it works like this:
Skyrim Original Plus Mods = Yay
Skyrim Special Edition = Yay
Skyrim Special Edition + Mods = Yay + Wow
I can see mods becoming 3x bigger then because now they can use A LOT more ram
(also look up Nintendos Dominos aka the switch)
You don't know that for sure. ;)
Also I'm not hyped, but I'm excited and many here didn't buy this again it was given for free for owning the original Skyrim + DLC
Better graphics are only a side effect or nice bonus so to say.
The real improvement is the enginge itself, probably most important thing would be the 64bit support - thus making the game overall more stable especially when using mods.
That's why i'm hyped.
Free upgrade to a game that I miss getting enjoyment out of? Sign me up.
Ohh hes just salty that he cannot bring his hoard of a mod folder instantly.
I dont use any graphical mods so I'm just all plus on this one.
Mods can come later, Because apparently you cannot earn achievements if you mod it, I want to 100% this game again.
It's the burden of having a texture mod incompatibility mess. You won't need 5293085429304 texture mods and merge some because of incompatibilities, it's really awful, and it was what i found the worst thing in skyrim modding. This removes that huge mess pretty much completely since as what i've seen so far textures look better or the same than 99% of texture mods.
Indeed. May I direct everyone to take a look at the S.T.E.P. guide, and realize that most of it becomes unnecessary from the get go thanks to SE?
I did the STEP once, it took me 8 hours.
Game looked beautiful, ran.... well ran kinda ok.
Honestly can you blame us? A lot of the games I looked forward to have been total garbage, No Mans Sky and Mafia 3 hit some of us hard.
Sure thing, i will be playing the superior version with all my mods while you play the version with different lighting that looks like an instagram filter and 64bit. :)
