Missing Dragonborn quest, I did meet the cultists.
I have progressed through most of the game, and I just realized that the quest I had not far from the beginning, to go and investigate the cultists at Solthstein, is no longer in my menus! I even re-read the cultist order to see if it will start it, but no go. Is there a way i can restart it from the console? Should I remove it and add it again? Appreciate any help.

Do not use the console for this. It may just not be appearing in the list due to the number of other items you have appearing in your journal (there is a maximum cap that can appear). However, though it may not be appearing in the list, the game still recognizes it as being active, and as soon as you complete the next step, it will reappear (best bet is to see https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Dragonborn for a list of the quests and what order they are in).

Your next step once the quest is initiated, is to travel to Solstheim. For that, see:
https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Dragonborn_(quest)
Once you have done this, the updated quest should reappear.

Thank you for your reply. I only have 3 quests in the main list, and 3 quests in the misc list. I pretty much finished everything other than the 3rd Act, the Civil War Quests and the Dragonborn quests. I also just noticed that the 1st quest that is shown as finished is "tending the Flames", so its not showing the 1st quests done, maybe that is also limited on how many will appear there as well?

I will go and see if I can find the next step, but there are no markers to anything relating to it, but I will go through all the details and find the next step. I will update once I do that.
Much Thanks!

Ahh, that was easy! I had encountered the captain of the ship who was supposed to take me to Solstheim sometime early in the game, I think I broke off the conversation, which must have turned off the quest. When I just now went to speak to him, he refused to take me saying Too Bad, I no longer go to Solstheim. But the dialogue eventually did allow me to "persuade" him, so he took me to Solstheim.
Thank you!

OP, the first quest in Dragonborn requires that you finish the quest "The Way of the Voice", which is the one where the Greybeards call you to High Hrothgar. Once you do that quest, they'll show up randomly and attack you. So if they haven't shown up yet and "The Way of the Voice isn't finished yet, do that quest. Quests that you finish appear in the order you complete them, with the most recently completed one at the top of that list.

Thanks for the reply, I did complete that quest about 200 quests ago, I met with the original cultists, and a lot of others since. The problem was that some interaction with the Captain of the ship that takes me to Solstheim, or some other interaction, caused the quest to stop. I was able to restart it. If you read my last post before yours, it goes over this.

Glad it is all sorted out, Desdichado! As a general rule, always let an NPC finish speaking their dialogue, as often, cutting them off will result in bugs. If only they would speak faster! LOL!

Yes, I see how that can be an issue, being that I completed at least 75% of the game, I am surprised that I have not encountered that before. But glad that i will be able to finish Dragonborne! Thanks for your help!
