anvil crashing?
hey guys i need some help with this one as i am clueless. skyrim se, is crashing anytime i use the anvil any where any location. i do have mods on it but from what i can tell and have tried is that as soon as i hit a certain smithing level around the lvl40 mark it starts to ♥♥♥♥ out.

i did recently notice that on the last crash the iron bow which u can craft has a red exclamation mark as the picture and crashes instantly every time.

has anyone en-counted a issue like this before?

yes i do have mods running and loot box etc. i assume immersive weapons and armor could be the issue but when i disabled it and relog back into the game it would still have the same issue as soon as i touched that anvil.

any help would be awesome as i really enjoy playing this game.

It is the 10th mod from the top in your loadorder that is causing it. And also you need to test it with the mod off in a new game as the old save has all the fun stuff baked in to it already.

I play with immersive weapons and immersive armors and I play as a smith. I put a crap-ton of time into my anvil. ;)

I have no issues with them so I would suggest your problem is not with those mods directly.

It might help if you post your L00T sorted mod order.

If/when you test, Perplex is correct that you have to start a new game to test the game without a mod you were running. This is because of how Skyrim bakes scripts into saves.

If/when you choose to restart the modding process, start with a clean install. There is no other way to fully remove the mods and get back to vanilla.

The red exclamation mark means you have a missing or invalid mesh. You didn't install an oldrim mod did you?

i dont think so. i did download viliga companion and garm they where my most recent two i added. as well as idigo apart from those i never seemed to have this issue. but keep in mind i never really trained smithing up untill now and i came across it normally about the level 30 mark. i can do most things on the anvil but if i go into the weapon slot catagory it will instantly crash
