Yours favorite skin+ENB combinations for realistic look
Skyrim Special Edition has a "lovely" issue of skin looking like plastic toys. I always aimed at more realistic look and even tho somehow I have it with Bijin skin, it still looks horrible.

While reseaching I have saved couple of other people combinations and will test them, yet here I am, maybe You can help me save some time.

What do You recommend for ultra realistic looking skin?

The answer is Armor. No seriously there is no one perfect setting or combination as it depends on too many variables. Given the many many lighting conditions you can possibly encounter it is unrealistic to completely eliminate "plastic skin".

That being said you can improve the situation, sometimes greatly. The cure so to speak is SSS (subsurface scattering), which you can tweak in the enb menu (shift+enter) or in
enbseries.ini. Be aware that skin is not the only thing being effected by SSS and over the top settings can lead to other stuff looking weird. Here is an overview of the settings you can tweak: https://stepmodifications.org/wiki/Guide:ENBseries_INI/Subsurfacescattering

Since SSS is conditional to placement and intensity of light sources in relation to your character you can also use something like quicklight (great stable mod):

or facelight (great, but less stable imho):

Alright! Thanks for the details! Forgot about FaceLight mod and I will play around SSS, still, need more info on skin mods as SSS sucks in SE.

Might as well reinstall and remod oldrim, as I need to do it anyway for something else.

Tempered Skins for males and females. No ENB since I like 60 FPS more than eye candy. I think the majority of players use Rudy nowadays. In fact, so many people use Rudy that it even gets boring.

SkyrimSE Re-Engaged has about twice as many downloads on nexus. I don't really know what the differences are like, though. I just use Re-Engaged on the lowest setting to get some basic upgrades without killing my FPS

You know nothing on subject yet still persist to write something. There is huge difference between Skyrim with ENB and without ENB. I asked about skin mod with ENB. I also marked this thread as answered.
