I explained it badly but that's the idea. To fix it the texture call of your graphical mod has to show up in the final load. If you are using MO2 this can be done relatively easily by ensuring your mod ordera nd your load order are the same. There're YouTube tutorials for it. If you're more advanced you can edit the NPC in the Marriage mod directly though I've never done that myself. I'm not really good at modding this game. Resolving black face bug is a pain but just loading the offending mod at the bottom of the load order isn't usually going to work.
The issue you are describing is caused by facegen data not matching the data of the NPC in question (as defined by the last esp that edits them). It can usually be resolved by adjusting your load order, in this case move your marriage mod as high as possible in your load order.
Be sure to read the to the remarks, particularly: "NPC appearance overhauls that use custom sculpts and custom textures are safe to use with this mod installed, but if you have a conflict in your load order that breaks those mods, this mod will not be able to restore the intended appearance. It will only fix the discoloration."
IE: Load order is still important for anyone using Bijin, Pandorable, etc.
