Captain Veleth
When i heard his voice i was very surprised and i had no idea he did voice acting in Skyrim.
if you don't know what im talking about there is this character in god of war 4 named mimir and i love his voice and his story telling and since I recently starting playing Skyrim (only 331 hours, noob numbers) when i heard his voice I immediately recognised it.

BUT WAIT. they are not voiced by the same person???????? thats impossible. I know its not that important and nobody cares but for some strange reason it blow my mind when i found out about it. their voices are identical.

I'd say they're for sure similar but not identical.

Sorry for the bump, but this "Veleth is voiced by Dan Donohue" statement is actually wrong.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alastair_Duncan_(actor,_born_1958)
Under Video Games in Filmography section, 2011. Captain Veleth is voiced by Alastair Duncan. They sound so similar because... they are literally the same person.

Not sure where that Dan Donohue thing came from. Top search result on google says the same thing - Dan Donohue. This is definitely incorrect, listening to Donohue you can clearly tell it's a different person. I've reported it for misinformation because literally this happens because of it, and I recommend others do the same.

IMDB says it, too. Let's see what UESP says about this...
UESP has the same mistake about Dan. I really do wonder where this obvious flaw stems from - Maybe he was an early voice actor for the character and was tributed on IMDB before being swapped out last minute?

But I just looked at the UESP's cast list for Skyrim, and it does not list Alistair Duncan's name at all. Are you sure you're not mishearing the voice?

Yeah the UESP is wrong. Listen to Mimir's voice from God of War, then listen to Captain Veleth - Identical.

Then, listen to a clip of Dan Donohue. Totally different person, definitely not the same voice actor.

I'm pretty certain that this is a mistake on the UESP and IMDB.

I think Valden may have just deleted his own posts? Not really sure.
