I use this for unzipping: https://www.izarc.org/
Both Vortex and MO2 come with SevenZipSharp to unpack mod archives. They can't unpack manual installation archives for you though.

7zip and peazip are equilvalent, with peazip being based on 7zip, and it has better aesthetics.
If plan is to install SKSE and then grab the mod which enables achievements with mods and go from there..........
I'd suggest you follow my guide as imo you should use "SSE Engine Fixes" to enable achievements since it also fixes some bugs and improves the game engineand as long as we're on the subject of bugs you should also have the "Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch" (should be called the official patch).
So my recommendation would be to take mods 1-4 from the guide and go from there:

Vortex comes with SevenZipSharp which I'll will work for downloading certain files, but not manual downloads. So I'll decide on an unzipper program, because I'll clearly need it.
As for the video I foolishly thought I would have been fine watching only Gopher's tutorials, but I clearly need to do more research, so I'll read Vlad's guide sometime soon.
Thanks, and obviously if I misunderstood Vortex and the SevenZipSharp connection then please correct me. Thanks again.
