Next, that .dll appears to belong to this mod "Monitor Refresh Rate Uncap" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/31613?tab=posts
The modpage says the mod is deprecated and to replace it with "SSE Display Tweaks" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34705
Additional commentary: i'm only guessing this next item, but we tend to see more of this sort of thing if your game is installed in Programs (x86). if your game IS installed in C:\Programs (x86), consider moving your Steam and games elsewhere on that drive or to another installed drive. See https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7418-YUBN-8129&l=
Also, is running higher fps worth the extra hassle to you? I don't need to know the answer to that, but it is something you might want to reconsider.
that error code looks as if it's related to that mod.
if so make sure you are using the mod
Address Library
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32444
Also Microfsoft C++
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads-2647da03-1eea-4433-9aff-95f26a218cc0
Edit: yes, seems it is related to Engine Fixes
Thanks for the suggestions! Running it as admin didn't help.
I knew it was related to that mod but it doesn't make sense as I don't think I have that mod installed, I think I did at some point but I don't think I got it working and deleted it.
And most of my steam library is on my D: drive if that helps
Yes to all questions/suggestions, lol
thanks
Either way whichever one you used in the FAQ on each mod page it says that's a normal error message, they both (each mod page) says to ignore it. But you say your game won't start - so:
You'll have to track down which changes those mods implemented.
two things:
First I agree with Mikk011 when he says
"Also, is running higher fps worth the extra hassle to you? I don't need to know the answer to that, but it is something you might want to reconsider."
Second: if you can't track the error and since you are no longer using those mods you will need to perform a "Clean Vanilla Reinstall" (and then set up your mods again):

Edit: I forgot as I meant to start my post off with:
Are you absolutely sure Address Library is installed? I ask because that will cause that error. Anyway - Just checking.
No the FPS is not a big deal to me, hence why I gave up trying to make the mod work, it wasn't worth the hassle.
Thanks for the info, I'll try and see if I can find the changes cause I really ***really*** don't want to reinstall my mods. It was a "add one or two each play sesh" kinda thing so I ended up with 100+ that idk how they all work together and to go back and do it in one go is something I just don't have time for anymore.
Thanks!
Yes;
"Address Library for SKSE Plugins - All in one"
And if Vortex is to be trusted, its version 2
Edit: Would reinstalling the address library help? or just break things?
Max I'm not trying to give you a hard time but - what? you don't know how they all work together?
OK modding this game does have a learning curve so don't feel frustrated as hard as it may be not to. This game is fun do mod but like anything else it seems harder than it is at first. Don't let it overwhelm you as it's pretty basic stuff once you learn and you already began that learning process.
Check this out:

ALSO: First follow the steps in the video I gave you (which is also in my guide). The video is made by Michael of GamerPoets who has a knack for clear & concise explanations. It's only a 2 minute video so the process is not long yet it must be follow to the letter.
Reminds me, did you try to verify your game files thru steam?
Check and make sure but the version you should have is 1.5.97
(btw: verify the game files and this will also make sure you have that version)
I know it's easy, just time consuming. I could have worded it better... more like I have a few conflicting and overlapping mods that I took like half a day to sort out, not that it was hard, just took time seeing which mods went in what order. It is very easy, but I did that already and I just wanna play the damn game now, if you know what I'm getting at, lol.
I have not, I'll try that. I've done it before but I don't remember what effects it has on the mods, do i just have to re apply them? I can't remember
I never use the All-in-One
So I did all that
I verified the files twice and it wont even launch thru steam (which only slightly concerns me...) and I downloaded 1.5.97 and I still get the same error...
EDIT: nvm I disabled the mods and it launches thru steam, thats on me
