Statue of Talos outside High Hrothgar

Ok, Why is it there?

Pretty sure it is the only statue on the 7k steps. None of the other etched tablets have one. None of the others have any Divine Statues. Going even one step further...the blessing you get for reading all the tablets isn't from Talos. If anyone it is a blessing from Kyne.

I know the last etched Tablet is about Tiber Septim/Talos Stormcrow/Iggy the Pop. He never killed a dragon. Never did a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing but serve HIS OWN interests.

So I gotta ask. Who put the statue there? Why?

So? I mean who hasn't conqoured Tamriel? No seriously who hasn't? I am sure the list is shorter than who has.

Also Isn't that conqouring thing directly in violation of their pacifism? I mean it seems to be at odds with what they profess to believe in.

You do know that Talos trained under the Greybeards before he founded the Empire?
And that his descendants, the Septim family, were proud of him and his origins?
And that he had the blessings of Greybeards?

So the Septim's put it there, for all the reasons I just mentioned...

Tiber Septim was the FIRST to conquer all of Tamriel. See, there's a thing you didn't know: Neil Armstrong was the first Earthling to set foot on the moon. Some other guys did it later, but who gets all the credit? Armstrong.
Simone Biles was the first to stick a Triple Yahtzee or whatever in the Olympics. She gets the cred.
Doesn't matter how many gold medals The Philippines gets from now on, the first one to do it gets the cred.

So yes, Tiber Septim, being Dragonborn, transcends the teachings of Jurgen Windbreaker, because he was Chosen.
