Is this a new install or an existing install and save that just started behaving like this?

Where is the CTD happening? During game start prior to the menu screen or when loading a save. How old is the save? How up to date are your Windows System, Graphic Drivers and Visual C++ Redistributables?

Are you sure you installed anything recent correctly (did you ensure you had all the requirements?).

I am off to bed, so hopefully your answers will give people something to work with. You also might want to include system spects (Steam Upper left - Help - System information) and Mod Load order (Assuming have mods other than Engine Fixes)

Its a fresh install today, new save, happening after roughly 10-15 minutes gameplay, either when i go through a door or kill myself. the save is fully new. my windows system is all upto date, pc itself is less than a year old, all drivers are up to date, c++ is too, im pretty sure i installed all mods correctly.

Nothing Jumps out. I have no experience with Falskaar, ELF or Water mods so can't speak to those.

The CTD when dying or transitioning a cell is kinda is familiar. But I experience it so rarely; I just chalk it up to life.

Sorry I can't be more help.
Ihateeverybody Jul 12, 2021 @ 10:42pm
Uh. *SOSRaceMenu.esp. You don't appear to have the SOS mod. If your are not to far into your game I would recommend starting over with it disabled or removed. IF you do have that mod and for whatever reason it didn't show on your load order.

Try moving
*SOSRaceMenu.esp

Below

*RaceMenu.esp
*XPMSE.esp

It SHOULDN"T Matter as it is a dummy plugin with no dependancies. This is the description from the mod itself "This is an empty plugin so that SOS stops its scaling on the player when using the XPMSE RaceMenuPlugin. This plugin can't be merged. Reasons for converting plugins to 44 are the most dumb reasons I ever heard"

Your mod list seems alright an none of them should cause too much of a problem except for Skyrim Immersive Creatures.

It has a common CTD causing problem . It hasn't been updated for awhile now too. Try disabling it and see if you crash in the same place or not. If you do still crash then it's probably caused by something else.

If you stopped crashing , that's the cause. However you do not need to outright remove it if you still like to use the mod. There are alternate fix you can do. People discussed about it here in this reddit thread.

https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/hy6i7t/sse_ctd_with_skyrim_immersive_creatures/

Good luck and let us know if that solved it! :D

Also, if you just ran Wyrebash to remove something, and not to make a merge plugin, you do not need the "bashed patch.esp." I.e, removing masters from a certain esp.

Otherwise, you can remove it.

.Netscript Framework creates a crashlog to SKSE folder. That's the one you should look actually. I don't use NMM but I believe it writes into a overwrite folder and in there should be SKSE along with the crash log under .Netscript .

You can run your load order thru Loot if you have not already done so to make sure it's optimized but just as importantly for messages regarding missing patches etc.
But I'm leaning towards Immersive Creatures being the problem.

This line from NET Script Framework Unhandled native exception occurred at 0x7FF7BBD9DDDA (SkyrimSE.exe+D6DDDA) caught my eye:

SkyrimSE.exe+D6DDDA

Stack: BSResource::anonymous_namespace::LooseFileStream* OR BSResource::ArchiveStream* OR BSResource::CompressedArchiveStream** mentioned somewhere
*This occurs when you don't have enough virtual memory on your disk drive OR you have a corrupt texture amidst one of your mods. Many have tested both causes out and they appear to be indistinguishable when observing the crash log. If you think you have enough virtual memory already enabled, then the first line of action would be to sleuth out which mod texture is causing the issue. The stacks mentioned above can help you with this investigation. If it mentions LooseFileStream, it will most likely mention which texture is the corrupt one. This can help funnel down which mod is overwriting this texture. If you are having a hard time finding the mod of question, then you can search in your entire mod folder using windows file explorer to find which mod has this texture. As for the stacks ArchiveStream and CompressedArchiveStream, these refer to a BSA that may have this corrupt texture. This is a bit harder to track down, but there is method you could try attempting. If you suspect a mod of causing this crash, try extracting the BSA and see if the crash repeats with LooseFileStream mentioned rather than the previous ArchiveStream. Once you've tracked down which texture may be causing the issue, you can try clean disabling the mod and see if the crash repeats. If it doesn't, then congratulations. From here, you can try cleaning the mod using CAO or disabling it in general. If it isn't a texture issue, then you can attempt to increase your virtual memory. This can be done by increasing your pagefile size for your hard disk(Google or Bing how to increase pagefile size). I would recommend creating your pagefile on an SSD as that is significantly faster and less stuttery.

Either post this info to the mod author or try the Net Script framework page.
xEdit can also be helpful
As far as possible causes I'm not sure but maybe either Immersive Creatures might be pushing your RAM or you have a corrupt texture.

OR you could Troubleshoot your Load Order

To Troubleshoot your load order properly:
(From Pinned Topics "Helpful Links And References")
start off with a vanilla save (or a save that only has the mods you absolutely know are safe) -
one made where the issues occur so it is easy to test - and then add in groups of mods
till you find the one causing the issue - making a manual save each time so you can roll back
when the issues occurs and zero in on the specific mod. And although that may be time consuming, often it is far better and quicker using that systematic approach than trying to guess willy-nilly which mod it is.

Next once you do find which mod is causing the issue, and have removed it, you cannot continue using the same save, again due to how Skyrim bakes data into the save (and this data *CANNOT be removed - despite what some may say). You must either go back to a save made prior to having installed the removed/disabled mod, or start a new game. There is no other option - unless the mod is one of the exceptions mentioned in the below linked discussion.
*Examples: (PURE MESH/TEXTURE REPLACEMENT MODS ARE SAFE TO REMOVE. SO ARE MODS USING VANILLA ASSETS AND SPAWNS.)

Most of that all seemed confusing to me, so I just did the easiest thing I could think of & disabled Skyrim Immersive Creatures, and I played with no issues, did a test run & all seemed well! Thank you :)

You will need to go back to a save made before you installed that mod - and if none exists, you will need to start a new game - no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Those are your only options, for the reasons outlined here:

You CANNOT Remove Mods Mid-Playthrough - http://steamcommunity.com/app/489830/discussions/0/1520386297681801135/
(which was already stated in short in the above post #10, as well as the link being provided)

Like most things, easy does not always equate with doing things right. There is a right way and a wrong way - and there are no shortcuts.

Hey Levi,

I don't want you to end up wasting hours of playtime only to have to have to start over anyway. As I posted (post#10):

This is important with any load order but ALL THE MORE SO with a mod like Immersive Creatures.

Very few enjoy starting over and I get that. The problem is the vast majority of the time when the problem "seems" to have gone away at first, it ends up biting you down the road.
