Recommended Mods for Third Person perspective playthrough
A few days ago, I found this article about playing Skyrim in Third person with Mods:
https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/ow2e42/skyrim_with_modern_third_person_combat/

Got interested in trying this out since I'd love to play the game on a big TV with a controller. However found the experience too clumbsy, specially when doing combat.

Tried using the mods mentioned in the article, but it became an hours long nightmare of trying to install stand alone mods combined with Nexus mods. In the end the game crashed with all mods active, and didn't work properly with some mods active (couldn't walk to the head chopping block). In short, I decided to give up on this approach.

However, still interested in playing in third person with a controller, I'd like to ask:
Which Nexus mods would you recommend to make the third person perspective playthrough more doable and convenient in the "controller & TV" situation I described?

Simple Lock-On SE is what made me start a 3rd person / controller playthough.

Being able to lock on enemies with one key is fantastic to precisely cast spells!

honestly? weak setup. I personally don't like SkySA because the good and updated version is locked behind patreon pay-wall along with complementary add-ons/other mods that blend things together nicely...

I can share my setup, but it's a bit tricky to get working. My setup particularly is for thos who think Souls games in skyrim are for Weeabos and anime addicts. (specially the animations, which's the thing I really hate about SkySA). And that Souls combat fully flushed just sucks (which I do, loved DS1, but everything after that I hated)

This is a good mod, but I've heard of it causing issues
