If you owned Skyrim Legendary Edition at a certain point in time, you got SE for free.
If you missed the window, that's a you problem.

F-would i know, I bought it like 10 years ago.

Did you own it on Steam and own ALL DLC when SE was released?

But yeah, next time Todd drops by We will be sure to tell him.....No really we will. I am totally not being sarcastic....not one bit.....at all.

Honestly though I wouldn't get your hopes up. I just don't see it happening.

You know, you never mentioned a last name. I guess when a Todd shows up we can pass along your message.

I have absolutely no idea whether or not you own the game, so why would you ask this question? It has been offered at a discount many times and nobody is telling you that you have to buy it. It was also given away for free to everybody who owned the base game and all DLC. If you didn't get it for free, either you had it on console, in which case I don't know why you would be posting this, or you waited until after the SE released.

There have been so many threads about this, it stopped being funny a long time ago. Over three and a half years between Dragonborn's release and SE. And 5 months between the announcement of the offer and the SE release. There have been people whose profiles have shown that they played Skyrim for literally a few hours, but complained they didn't get SE free because they didn't have the DLCs. If people barely play the game and skipped obtaining portions of the content, I don't see why it's an issue.

Indeed we've seen lots of threads of people missing one dlc (mostly Hearthfires) and complaining they didn't get it for free

Yes because the world evolves around Skyrim.
At absolute minimum there should be a discount, considering I own 90-98% of the game already.
I'm pretty fing-sure I got bioschock remastered by default..

I have that one.
SpeedFreak1972 Jun 26, 2021 @ 2:55am
Well atm nothing can be done IF you had all dlc at the moment SSE came out you have to contact STEAM that said it's YEARS after release so don't get your hopes up as for the discount .... WHY?? I mean they were very generous in providing every one that had LE (including all dlc) to give a free copy I mean strictly they weren't obliged to do that.

They announced it that people on pc that met the criteria get it for free. If you didn't noticed it is not their fault or did you expect a personal email telling you?

Just wait for a sale and there you have your discount.

You should try getting a car dealership to give you that kind of deal. "Look, I've paid off 98% of my car, so you guys should give me a free one!"

The world does not revolve around Skyrim.
Just like it doesn't revolve around you.

Just because something was free in a specific time window does not mean it should be free to anyone who complains about it a few years later.
You must be one of those people that gets angry when the store wont accept your expired coupon. lol.
You're too late. Suck it up and pay, or don't and move on.

Not even LE was available 10 years ago, so when you say you already own this game, do you mean you already own the oldrim base game? you also claim you own all the dlcs, se version has all dlcs built in, you either have all, or you have none, in either case, your problem, if it can be considered one, should go to the original skyrim thread
SpeedFreak1972 Jun 26, 2021 @ 4:33am
Well from what I understand he has oldrim and wants SE and now he throws a tantrum that he doesn't get it for free or at a reduced price, because he has oldrim. He probably has all dlc now, but not when everyone got SSE for free.

They spent money on remastering this, fixing game breaking bugs, enhancing the visuals (especially for consoles) and bringing an easy-to-use ingame mod menu. Overhauling the vegetation and visuals greatly. Then they made it free for quite a while for owners of LE. And youre not willing to spend cash on something like that?

Spyro remastered came out not too long ago, I assume you wont be willing to buy something like that because you had already bought the original PlayStation version?
