Mods and Console commands (possibly)
I've got Lakeview Manor for the umpteenth time. I usually furnish it using a combination of console commands and what I can craft from the workbenches. The only thing that I'm never happy with is the rugs which always seem over dirty to me. (There's buckets and brushes so they may be a bit stained but not as dirty as that)

I've had a look at Nexus and downloaded Detailed rugs, which helps when I'm wandering about the game but it doesn't help me furnish my house.

I'm pretty useless at mods, they hurt my brain, but I can do it if I want to (I've got SKSE working fine)

So after all that, is there anything that will give me a load of rugs I can pick from console when furnishing my house. Or if not console some other way?

Yes, I looked at rugnarok. But when I downloaded detailed rugs I thought that would solve the problem. If I download Rugnarok, will I be able to console them in to my house?

All detailed rugs did was make the rugs in the game look different. I couldn't add them to my house.

They will replace the rugs in Lakeview Manor

Ah, thank you. I was trying to just port random rugs into the house, but I can work with the ones that'll spawn with the game.

I was trying to avoid having a big dining table in the middle of the room but you can't have everything, And I'd rather have a nice rug with a table than the grotty ones they give you in the game :steamhappy:

That's the unfortunate thing with Hearthfire and the three locations. There is not enough variety. Many of gone to the multiple player housing mods on Nexus.

as a side note, I recently went for a simplistic approach and used "Bleakwood Cabin" by Feralkyn. This is a detailed cabin with unique labeled storage. It was a nice break for the current save as I'm trying to stay away from purchasing houses and leaving the Housecarl's at their respective Longhouses.
