Will SSE Owners on steam get free upgrade?

As title says, Will we be getting the free upgrade to SAE? my friend says yes, but from what i can find it says that it's only for next gen console versions.

The only free thing you'll get is in the November update of your present SE game, which will give you the fishing add-on. If you want to buy the SAE, PC owners will have to pay for it. And I believe a discount will be in place if you own the game. It's console owners who get the SAE free. But there's nothing in SAE that you don't have now. It's the same game.

Yes there will be something free and that is in knowing that if we were seeing a new Elder Scrolls game any time soon we would not be getting this new addition to an old game. Knowing that is free.

As Dishonored said. Everyone will get three free pieces of Creation Club content: Fishing, Survival Mode and even new quests with Saints and Seducers.

Skyrim Special Edition owners on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, as well as Xbox Game Pass subscribers on Xbox Series X|S will receive a free upgrade to an enhanced version on November 11 for their respective PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S systems!

Separately the Anniversary Edition will come out on 11/11/21. If you already own SSE edition on any platform you will be able to purchase it at a discount.

So no, Steam PC will not get free upgrade.

Having said that, PC owners got a free upgrade a few years ago and consoles didn't. So the free upgrade for consoles is just them catching up with PC graphics etc.

It depends on what the full price is gonna be. 40? 30? 20? It definitely would not be 60 unless Bethesda thinks that whatever those CC mods they are putting in are worth that much

I bet getting all of them separately at either a full price or at a discount is still more expensive than 60 so idk

You actually can't even get them all, the AE has some currently unreleased CC content. About 20 or so of the mods were never released.
