As far as the mods in your load order is concerned. I see you have both NAT and ELFX.
NAT is an interior and exterior and so is ELFX although with ELFX you can choose to use only the interior lighting. ELFX can also do weather. Not sure what you installed there and if you used an ENB or not.
NAT says it's compatible (they even suggest you can switch the two in your load order) but I wouldn't use both together. I see you have NAT first and ELFX after. Did you try switching them?
I installed ELFX months ago, not sure what I did. I don't know yet how I can manually switch mods in Vortex cause they do it for you. I could try to disable ELFX then, but I doubt this will fix the brightness in the map cause Im 85% sure its caused by NAT.
Yea, I use an ENB > CFL II - Cinematic Film Looks for SSE
edit: I uninstalled ELFX and the map is still weird. I disabled the ENB and it didnt affect the map, only the in-game-world itself.
Or while you'rein Vortex
and in the "Mods" section
Look up top and you'll see a folder icon
choose "Open"
choose the "Open Game Application Data Folder"
there's the loadorder.txt file
Vortex is pretty straight forward. Sure there's a learning curve just like anything else but it is not a steep learning curve.
You really need to watch a couple of the videos by Gopher who happens to be the best at video tutorials (him and GamerPoets are hands down the 2 best).
Go to the "Video Tutorials" section and watch the first 3 for now. The first one is set up but he really gives some useful info.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1977191236
Then when you are done go to the section below the tutorials and make sure you can see what you're suppose to see in Vortex.

I watched "VORTEX - Beginner's Guide #4 : Plugins and Load Order" and tried to put the Quality World Map both at early and late loaders in the group section, still very bright. Pff well I will keep trying things, otherwise, I keep it a this brightness.
Btw, I couldnt even find any specific load order requirement from the "A Quality World Map" page if thats important.
There definitely are mods that would have an effect on the map. That said never I mentioned anything about AQWM being the problem.
I did mention mods that could have an effect on Bloom, then there's specularity. The way another mods lighting works is having an effect on your map. That's why there's a patch out for AQWM.
Before we talk about that patch, have you tried turning off your ENB? Usually it's SHIFT + F12 - try that
also, which ENB do you use?
another thing I wanted you to try is swap positions for NAT and ELFX
Now the patch lists the lighting mod "Luminosity" as a soft requirement and many users have reported it fixes the issue you are having with their map using mods other than Luminosity. This mod was designed specifically for the problem you are having.
There's no guarantee it will work but it definitely worth a try. If it does not fix the problem make sure you don't save or have any auto or quick saves then remove it
Luminosity - A Quality Worldmap Compatibility Patch
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30162
Go through the above slowly - take your time so your load order stays intact.
I use ENB CFL II - Cinematic Film Looks for SSE.
I uninstalled and removed the Quality World Map cause I couldn't stand it anymore. And I started a new game to use the mod "Legacy of the Dragonborn SSE" so I'm not sure yet if I can install any other mod now.
If so, I will reinstall the World Map and try it with Luminosity.
another one.
