A Quality World Map - WAY too bright!
Hi,
I asked this problem months ago on the mod's forum but I got no reply, so I try here.

I installed any of the "A Quality World Map" versions and they are all way too bright. I think it is caused by my ENB or weather and lightning mod. (NAT in my case). How can I fix this so I wont have a ugly map? Any ideas?

One way would be to use the parchment colored version i is not the same but, it may solve
your problem.

Oh and listing your loadorder and pc specs will help greatly.
Also did you remove any mods during this playthrough?

What do you mean with parchement colored version?

I use Vortex, it automaticly orders my mods. I pretty sure the mod which causes this brightness is the NAT weather mod. My specs are fine.

If you think NAT weather mod is the problem then try without it and see if that fixes it.
By parchment I mean their are two types of map, one is a traditional 2d parchment map
the other is a 3d color map, located on "A Quality World Map's" nexus page.

The 3d map is affected by weather the 2d one is not.

With 2d you mean the Paper one? I dont undestand. And yea the map is brighter by the NAT weather mod. Is there no way to get the map not affected by the NAT mod?

The paper one I think is not effected by weather and might not have the same issue.

I tried but it was sort of affected, and I dont like that version. But is there no way to get the map not affected by NAT? Otherwise I might have to change the weather mod but I rather not change it cause it fits my ENB perfect.

Did you get the form 44 map version and not the form 43 version?

A year ago, there was a mod that removed the clouds from the 3d map. Not sure if its still around.

Only use one of the Classic Maps

The file ElanAhova speaks of is "clear map skies" which is in the optional files section of A Quality World Map's mod page

Please list your load order as other mods you add will affect the bloom

Basically it's Oldrim vs SSE

that's why I said take one of the Classic maps as they have been properly converted

Ok, give me a moment, will try with a classic version. Oh nvm, I already had "Classic with all Roads". Still really bright with NAT.
