VampireLord unable to feed

Hey all, just became a vampire lord and am unable to feed. Have done the crouching and pickpocketing method, the vampire seduction method. Tried installing Sacrosanct thinking maybe that might assist. WTF am I doing wrong? lol

They generally need to be sleeping or under the effects of vampire seduction.

Done it. Theyll be asleep, I do the activate button for pickpocketing and it goes straight to pickpocketing - Idont get an option to feed. Same thing with Vampire Seduction. I use it and I hit the activate button and they just say a random piece of dialogue - no menu or option available for feeding. I did some googling and apparently theres a glitch that happens sometimes since oldrim that you cant feed. You have to revert to a save before becoming a vampire. But I dont have a save that early for whatever reason lol.

I have heard of this glitch so far when it happens to me I just reload before I had the issue to see if that fixes but, It does not always work.
Try a new vanilla character to see if it is caused by mods.

I kind of figured out whats going on. I have the vampire lord power and whatnot. Harkon sees me as a Vampire Lord but his court doesnt. They still say im a mortal. I didnt have any mods effecting Vampires except maybe Enaisaion's new perk tree mod Vokrii.
Ill probably just start a new character and trash this one lmao.

Ohh it is that glitch, sometimes the game gives you the vampire lord power but still
does not treat you as a vampire.
I am going to check out UESP and see if I can find the solution for that bug.

I have quoted this excerpt from uesp
"Sometimes, you will be made a vampire and have all the effects, but the game will not recognize it and you will be unable to feed or cure vampirism.

PC To fix this, use the console command player.setrace [playerrace]racevampire (e.g., player.setrace highelfracevampire).
It may be possible to cure yourself by becoming a vampire lord or werewolf.
Simply being a werewolf will not prevent you from contracting this bugged version of vampirism. A Necklace of Disease Immunity (with 100% immunity bonus) will, however, prevent it."

I tried that command already. But I might have an idea what I did to ♥♥♥♥ it up lmao. I started the character as a Khajiit and hated that the face always clips through every headpiece. So I used a mod called 'showracemenu' and its a spell that you can use to put you into the facesculptors menu I guess. I wonder if that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me somehow. I didnt even think about it.

I switched race to a Dunmer - dark elf. I wonder, since looking at your quote with teh console command if I need to put darkelf instead of dunmer in the command. Ill have to try in a bit.

player.setrace darkelfracevampire worked. I was trying dunmer before. Now I can feed and actually try to finish dawnguard questline for once lmao

Showracemenu tends to cause glitches with vampirism.
