Is there any way to heal horses?
I'm doing a vanilla playthrough in Skyrim, and just recently got attacked by a dragon. I managed to get away, but my horse got hit with some fire. I payed 1000 gold for that horse, and I don't want to have my money wasted!

Healing Hands spell, apprentice level so it shouldn't be difficult to find,
Thanks!

After leveling Restoration a bit (you shouldn't need to get it higher than 30, if that), just about every court wizard in the local Jarl's palace or longhouse should start selling the Healing Hands spell-tome (called "Spell Tome: Healing Hands"). In Whiterun, you'll want Farengar Secret-Fire (he sends you out looking for the Dragonstone in Bleak Falls Barrow), he'll either be in his workshop to the right of the Dragonsreach dining/audience hall, or eating with the others, sitting in a randomly-determined seat at one of the two longtables; in Markarth, it's Calcelmo, the famed Dwemer (Dwarves/Dwarfs) researcher, he's usually off to the first left in Understone Keep, studying enchantment or, occasionally, alchemy, along with his nephew, Aicantar*; in Solitude, you'll want to look for Sybille Stentor in the Blue Palace, who's usually near Jarl Elisif the Fair, either to the right as you face her throne (with the Jarl herself and the other members of the court), or in her rather sizable bedroom to the left of the throne, found by turning left and walking a few feet down the main hallway, then through what should be the first offshoot on your right, going down a shorter hallway, through double-doors; in Windhelm, it's Wuunferth the Unliving (who's actually very much alive, just old, unlike another. certain, recently-mentioned court-wizard living in a large, azure-roofed palatial manor), who resides in his study just above the entry-hallway of the Palace of Kings; and in Riften, you'll want Wylandriah of Mistveil Keep, whose study is just to the left upon entering.

Umm... you're welcome? Can't tell if there's criticism in there because I said something you already knew or not...
