Slow Time bugged
Sometimes when I use Slow Time it slows time infinitely, including me. I can move around normally but can't cast anything since the animation is basically stopped in time. Oh and the slow time itself isn't behaving like it should, it's waaaay slower, like the time is frozen, not slowed.

One thing I've noticed is that in the Effects tab (buffs/debuffs) it shows that time is slowed for 12 seconds, but the timer doesn't go down, meaning the timer itself is slowed/frozen.

Only way to fix this is completely restarting the game, which is extremely annoying. Is there a way to prevent this from occurring?

Only mods I use that might affect this are:
-DIOs The World (search Star Platinum on Nexus), which has the same problem as the vanilla shout
- Slow and Freeze Time Spells (these work 100% of the time without any issues)

Did you try tweaking the load order?

With USSEP you should have a book with the title unwanted effect remover try that

Not much, but this bug occurs with the vanilla shout too so I think it's just a bug with the game not a mod conflict

Never had or heard of that book with USSEP
SpeedFreak1972 Oct 27, 2020 @ 11:27pm
It should be in your inventory

Yes, it isn't. And unless it can be removed I never had it (started new game with USSEP installed)

well try open the console and search for it help "effects remover" or some deviation then there should be a code ... type player.additem xxxxxx 1 (where xxxxx is the item code) in the console
smr1957 Oct 28, 2020 @ 6:25am
If the Unofficial Patch is in the 6th position in your load order, immediately after Dragonborn.esm then:

player.additem 050b1985 1

if in 7th position (occasionally it will be there, after Lanterns of Skyrim), then:

player.additem 060b1985 1

It is titled USSEP Unwanted Effects Remover

Thanks Steve just dove in myself to check it's correct I came upon a mention of some guy with 5 new profiles where in 2 the book wasn't added so it's possible.

Just another example of where xEdit can be very useful - if nothing else, you can look up the IDs of items. (Provided, of course, you know what mod they are from.)

Did help "effect remover". Nothing found, maybe I have an old version of USSEP? If the book was added between August and now then probably

EDIT: nevermind found it, had to add an S after effect
