Chaurus eggs graphical glitch
First time i've seen them in SE, and the chaurus egg clumps look the same before and after harvesting. Normally, they should be glowing before harvest, and then go dull after harvest. This isn't happening, they start glowing and stay glowing.
Mods i'm using that modify graphics are;
Performance ENB
Skyrim_Particle_Patch_for_ENB-SSE
Relighting Skyrim SSE
Lanterns of Skyrim SE
Glowing Ore Veins 300 SSE - Optimized
Unread Books Glow SSE

Edit: Has anybody experienced this, or know the remedy?

Well there's 1 simple test deactivate the enb see if it still occurs

I don't think I've ever seen a difference between unharvested egg clumps and harvested..... Are you sure they should glow?

They have always looked the same in my games.

Not hard glow however there is a difference in my game

Well you learn something new every day.

What Alex said - I've never seen them glow in my games (or at least not that I recall - but I think I would remember if they did or not - but my games are so heavily modded that that doesn't really mean much). It is possible that some mod made them glow previously (and it wouldn't have even needed to be a purely graphic mod, necessarily). Or, as Speed said they do - but I just never really noticed it.

RandalMcdaniel Oct 28, 2020 @ 10:29am
they definately glow bright, then look lifeless after you pick them up

you can disable/enable your enb with shift+f12
Perplex Oct 28, 2020 @ 5:45pm
They work like mining nodes. They have some "glow" before mining/harvest and gets dull and lose the colour after being mined/harvested.

'Glow' as in 'can see in the dark', not as in 'give off light'. Speedfreak, RandalMcdaniel, and Perplex have the right idea.

So i can confirm it's not a result of the enb

Mate, can i ask if you're running LE/SE and if we're using any mods in common?
I feel like this would be such a weird thing to be missing from vanilla SE O_o but it's Bethesda, so anything's possible

Well I have done it on both SE and LE, and with and without mods, and never seen them glow, not even in the dark. Which is why I asked, because I have never seen them glow.

It might just have been my old computer, my current one can't do gaming, so I do Skyrim on my PS4.

What a strange turn of events.
I can confirm i've seen the glow in LE, on PC, but it was heavily modded. I might boot up my old comp and run it vanilla to see if the lil bastards glow.
I also played Oldrim on ps3, and i feel like i remember the glowing... but i could be wrong =/

In the meantime, i found a mod that does this, located here;
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22705

I feel like this is an awesome thing to have in this game, cause not knowing if you've harvested an egg... sac or whatever, is annoying at best, and very time consuming at worst.

Yea they always have been glowing for me even if I used an almost mod free game on 2 separate pc's and several different gpu's and drivers
