As there are console command to force NPC to be spouse or steward, it there any console command to force NPC to be a bard at the homestead?
My Dragonborn would like to make Karita, a bard in Dawnstar Inn, to be his personal bard.

No, my Dragonborn will not ask her to sing. He just wants to see her face everyday because he secretly likes her. But he has already married with Thane Bryling.

No! there is no console command, because you need the underlying scripts for those NPCs, you need mods for all that, unless you can make them do all that without commands, in which case a command might work.

i think you can use commands to either clone, or move a bard npc, but it may cause undesirable function in your game. you'd have to also use same to pin the npc in that location and stop them from returning to their previous.

afaik there is no way to 'force nonbard npc to start acting like a bard' unless you make a fairly sophisticated mod, set of scripts, etc etc. for it.

edit: back up your save before you try. this can easily corrupt your save.

As Alexander already mentioned: NO, there isn't You could use several console commands (not just one) to change the factions she is in originally and add her to factions connected to your player home, but her AI packages can't be changed by using the console, meaning that she will return to Dawnstar whenever an AI package forces her to. Only possibility: create a mod to change her factions and AI packages.

The best thing is to do as Altbert says and to create a mod - if you can. It can probably be done strictly in xEdit if you have the knowledge and experience. And if you do not, just take a look and play around with it - best way to learn is by trying.

You mentioned about AI packages. I had played two games in the past. In one game, I married with Thane Bryling and there was no problem. In another game, I married with Karita but after marrying, she walked back to her own home in Dawnstar everytime I left her. Is this about AI packages you mentioned? So, the AI packages of Bryling and Karita are different?

Neither Karita nor Thane Bryling are marriable in the base game IIRC. You may have married Bryling with a mod. I remember a mod called Expanded Choices or Expanded Spouses, something like that which allowed you to marry her. There are some workaounds as well that you may have used.

Walking home to Dawnstar (Karita) as you describe is of course part of a AI package and the Karita that lives in Dawnstar is found at the Winipeak Inn. But there is also another Karita the one I am thinking of can be found on your way up the 7,000 steps.

Either way the AI packages of the two (or 3) are different.

AI package is basically the way they react to the dragonborn, their daily schedule, where they live, etc.

Edit: the ect. covers alot.

I did not use mod. I used console command to add faction. Surely, Karita that I married is the bard not the pilgrim. The latter is already old lol.

Exactly, you used a workaround/console command and you married the first Karita I mentioned. Neither of them is marriable vanilla including Brlying.

Last but not least in answer to your question the AI packages are of course different.

Yes, AI packages will be different for each unique NPC. It defines where an NPC sleeps, works, recreates. AI packages on a base NPC will only be overruled by AI packages defined for the reference aliase of the NPC in quests. If you want to have bard Karita in one of your player homes, you will have to create a mod with a quest and attach alternate AI packages, factions, outfit, and whatever you want. The quest should run forever, but you could include conditions when you get bored of her to stop the quest. In that case she will return to Dawnstar and to her original behavior.
