Bios update messed up my physics
Laptop

Acer Predator Helios 300 (2019)
Bios 1.12

Now I get the infamous "Physics Bug" that plagued some Oldrim users. Does anyone else experience this, and is there any way to fix it through any sort of tweaks or implementations?

Havok is tied to your fps, so if you are experiencing things just exploding and flying for no reason start by making sure your fps is limited to 60.

Yeah I don't miss gaming on my laptop (not that it was terrible) but; in my experience
Bios is not going to directly affect things flying around, as said that is tied to havok/fps
updating bios would make your lappy perform better so in that sense thus ultimately improving fps slightly but that is not what is making things fly around

what else did you change add/remove or update?

yep, havok. I'm wondering what changed as in, was it running fine before, so were there any changes to the mods/load order......
The Bios update might not directly affect the game, but it can affect drivers and other programmes, which can affect the game...

That said I would cap my FPS to 60, since that's what the engine can handle.

Streamed the game to Twitch with 60 FPS Locked via BethINI optimization. I just went through Helgen Cave and Bleak Falls Barrow fully. Didn't experience the same bugs like jittering giant spiders or other characters, or character displacement when traveling under overpasses inside interiors, or glitching through the puzzle door in Bleak Falls Barrow.

Locking the FPS to 60 should solve everything, and the performance of the stream on Twitch was also acceptable (I have good internet here), though I feel it may have seemed glossier when my FPS was unlocked. It's negligible. I'm able to enjoy a smooth experience free of glitches! :winter2019joyfultearsdog:
