Do you think Titus Mede was justified in his actions (considering he was NOT a septim) or condemn him for the fall of the empire?


I personally don't think it was his fault and believe he did the best of his ability considering the abysmal situation he was in

Yes, I blame him as the Empire had turned the tide against the AD when he decided to sue for peace and the fact that an independent Hammerfell kept the elves at bay means they aren't thus unbeatable boogeyman the Meede apologists want to paint them as.

given its basic biology that they breed slower and has been common knowledge for thousands of years if they didnt they need to drop the intelligence from imperial intiligence

Septims are all dead, so the fact he wasn't one is a none issue.
Empire needed a ruler, and he was chosen.

What people condemn him for is his actions as emperor, not whether or not he should have been emperor.

To be honest i think it is more complicated than that, WHile yes, Titus Mede II is a horrible emperor, WHo surrendered to the dominion especially after turniing the tide of the war in the battle of the red ring, Skyrim needs the empire despite this, What i'd rather see is Mede dynasty overthrown and replaced with a new dynasty that will not surrender it's people to elves.
