Any actual good hair mods out there?
(for women, specifically)

All the hair mods I see have hair that is far too smooth. Babydoll faces with perms/conditioner/uptown hairdresser/looking like they're gonna take a walk down the modeling strip in hollywood, or whatever. Also the other real problem, and likely a bigger issue and far more practical: clipping. The longer hairstyles are very pretty, but the clipping throws me off. Ponytails are great for women with longer hair, keeps it back, has the "long" feel to it, doesn't get in the way, and shouldn't clip if the ponytail is put in the right place.

The hairstyles are much too smooth and nice looking for a world like Skyrim.

Anyone know of hair mods that look actually immersive? I doubt conditioner is common in Skyrim :P

I have a good one: superior lore friendly hair, however it seems it's gone from the Nexus

It's still available - just on Oldrim - was never ported to SSE as far as I know (if it was it was a while ago and was removed). This CAN be used with SSE with absolutely no problems whatsoever - simple install - just a texture replacer.
Superior Lore-Friendly Hair - HD textures - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36510

There is also the Salt and Wind mods for SSE - which give a more natural look to Apachii and KS hairs. Just search Salt and Wind on Nexus SSE site and they will show

Thanks guys.

Yeah sorry for the complaining, I just search a lot for hair mods because I want more styles, but the supermodel babydoll look doesn't work with skyrim at all.

Kudos to those people who can download all the meme mods and play that way and find it fun. I can't do that. Me? I need immersion lol.

BUT to other characters in the world you are bald. Once I figured this out I uninstalled hair mods.

Learn to install mods. Obviously if that was an issue those mods wouldn't be so popular. This is the number two incompetent post from you in less than 4 hours. Impressive.
Generally, hair mods are for player only. You'd need to install some NPC mods to match your newly added hair, but it's hardly a requirement.

No. Just check a poster's profile and their post history to determine whom you should be paying attention to. Just because people post in the forums, does not mean they know what they are talking about.
