Riverwood - Locations for safe item storage
Greetings and welcome everyone, I decided to post that out here because I haven't found any better place for asking that specific question. I am playing Skyrim on my PS4 console, I am only a beginner at the whole thing. But for now I have gotten into the part where you get to Riverwood after the dragon attack at Helgen, from what I have understood and read at different sources is that if you choose to go with Ralof (Stormcloak Soldier) you get to have a safe storage and his sister gives you the keys to their house so you have no worries about anyone taking your things or any of some random item respawning in their house but my question is right this one here...

Back in Helgen I have chose to escape with Hadvar (Imperial Soldier) and he told me that his uncle should help me out, his uncle gives me a good amount of supplies and agrees for me to stay and live in their house as long as I like, but does the containers in their house are safe for storing my items? Because I have a lot of items on me (Nearly Overweighted), I haven't got any keys for their house because Hadvar's uncle keeps them. So is that safe to store items in their house? I am looking for a very secure and safe location in Riverwood for the beginning of the game, once I will be settled up there I will keep looking for other locations for more storage.

- Please don't give me the link for safe storage locations in Skyrim, I have already checked that out and understood everything there, for now I have saved my game and requesting answers.
Special thanks will be given to all those who will help me out on this one. :steamhappy:

There is also Anise's cabin accross the river. There is safe storage in the basement of the cabin.

Speaking with a great deal of experience, I would recommend you sell everything you have except: One set of armor, wear it. One, (or two), weapons, (Sword and bow for example), and just a few potions.

You will likely not find much worth keeping at a low level, and by accumulating gold, you can buy your own house somewhat early in the game.

Believe me, you are going to find a lot of stuff later on you will want to keep.

That depends on how much collecting someone wants to do. E.g. I like to collect books, so it is a good idea to start early.

From my perspective, the issue is not so much about SAFE storage but about how fast You are going to get own house. Since cells respawn periodically - and in many cases it takes 30 in-game days for each respawn - if You are able to get Your first house within 30 days, You can treat almost EVERY container as a safe one. Just store Your items in a barrel in Whiterun or Riverwood, obtain Your first house fast (it should really take You less than 7 days), and then move all the items to Your house.

Docsprock is right, the game is overfilled with items, I think many people play even without looting corpses and some chests, so sell just about everything or disenchant it, or what I did, keep raising your stamina while levelling so it will raise your carry capacity.:steamhappy:

Kill the chicken and store your items inside that. It never disappears.

I don't understand; if there's a link to such info, and you already have such info, what are you asking for here?

Hadvar's house is not on the list but some people tell that the house is safe for storing items in there, I am not sure since the house is not on the list in the link, see? The list is for safe storage locations but that specific house is not listed there so I am really not sure, that's why I ask.
